i scored this blue hand knitted vintage gem at ‘common threads consignment’ store at the kingston uri campus. their stuff is very reasonably priced and very carefully selected. paired with my l/s volcom mini and my killer camel, lace-up platform wedges …its perfect! i can’t wait to remove the lower layer and rock it naughty with some pretty undergarments or body suits. not today though, my philosophy professor would have a heart attack then give me an A.
According to my art history professor – this would be a throwback to Ancient Egyptian bejewled net dresses (they wore linen dresses underneath, which they apparently removed sometimes)
Make sure you don’t do that to Esme. Too much passion for a small room. He seems to have already transcended anyway.
I applaud the thriftiness of this ensemble – I read Glamour magazine AND still manage to afford gas & groceries – so we shall exchange thrifty ideas at some later point in time. Also, I need to pick your experienced blogger brain.
