About these ads

say a little prayer.

the boys on the left, Chris and James MacKenzie, were in a very serious car accident. please take a second and appreciate their gigantic smiles and wonderful demeanor. if you would call upon your god, source of light, totem, absolute being, prime mover or just reach within yourself and cultivate all of the love and energy you can. then send it in their direction. these kids and their family are very, very, very dear to me.

i know the photo choice seems pretty ridiculous, but these twins manage to have the most fun out of anyone in any social situation. chris and james claim the prime seats at the midnight slip and slide, they are the most energetic players on the lacrosse field and they catch the best waves during their surf sessions.

abby, tabby, blair, chris and james …. we love you. so so so much!

chris and james, please hang in there. you can drop in on me on every wave for the rest of eternity.

james killing it the same day.

  5. thanks alyssa and chris for linking my blog to your generous donation website. i just wanted to put a little disclaimer down here – my blog is mature and satirical in nature. this post, while sincere and taken from the depths of my heart, is probably a diamond in the rough among the contents of my blog. however, i do write about things that i care about. and i REALLY care about these boys. so please take that into account before you peruse the rest of my website. xo

Please let me know if there is anything I can do.

      • Is there any way to attach the link to this page to receive the updates or create a facebook page just for their care? I know their are so many people that care about the boys and just want to know how they are doing. I am praying each day and know that they are going to make it through this. Sending postive thoughts their way. With much love to all of them. The Maggiacomo Family

      • Hello Trish, I had no idea that my personal blog entry would be linked to the donation page for the boys. Unfortunately, I am trying to juggle school and work so I do not feel like I am the girl to rely on for consistent, accurate updates. However, I would shoot an e-mail to Peter Razza (pepsbro@aol.com) his grandson Kyle is very close with Chris and James. Peter may be able to start this page, or he may be able to enlist someone who can. Melissa Kramer Julian is Chris & James’ aunt. She has been posting updates on facebook. I am sure you can type in her name on FB and shoot her a message. There may be some sort of official page started, but I can not find it.
I will share everything that I can!
