the dynamic duo
I did not expect my initial blog posting to be spread around this wonderfully supportive community, but now that I am in the mix I may as well provide you all with an update.
Chris and James MacKenzie are on the road to recovery. The Razza’s were able to visit with James yesterday, and Chris was responsive to his sister’s loving touch.
I want to encourage everyone to stay positive. Please consider buying a bracelet or donating to the family, you can do this here: http://www.thebravest.com/mackenzietwins.html
FYI: I am not a journalist or an expert, I am a concerned friend. The only thing that I know for sure is that I am not sure of anything. So please: stay positive, assume the best, and keep praying.

did you guys know that james is a professional alligator wrangler?

chris takes a different approach!
An aside: I had the pleasure of teaching surf camp down at second beach when these two were catching their first waves. I consider Tabby and Blair to be a set of second parents. (they get it!!) And Abigail, she is one of the most caring and intelligent girls you will ever meet (Bay View girls tend to be pretty awesome, wink wink). And dont even get me started on boys who go to Bishop Hendricken, I fell in love (twice) at every BV/Hendricken mixer.
I may complain when Chris and James paddle out in the line-up, but it is usually because I know my wave count will be drastically decreased for the remainder of my session. Again, I love you guys. We all love you. stay strong. xo
Thank you so much for the update on Chris and James. We will continue to pray and send positive thoughts their way for continued healing! Thank you for your blotting about the boys and the family. They are wonderful people who really deserve all our love and support. With love Trish Maggiacomo and family.
Good stuff Kupcake.
Hey guys, I just had to chime in. My name is Dan Levy. I am the father of Aaron Levy – Chris and James’ Lacrosse goalie – who graduated last semester after their Div I state championships. Our family heard the tragic news when Tim Lyons was here at the house with Aaron during their Prep School break theis past weekend.
We were all shocked at the news and our prayers are with the extended Mackenzie family including all the lax bros!
God bless and protect both boys and God’s speed in a rapid recovery!!
thank you from their Aunt megan. It is hard to grasp this event being so far away, please keep blogging it helps so many.
Dear Aunt Magan – You see, we Jewish guys have a direct line to “upstairs”. So the Levy family decided to call in some favors to the big guy! Anyway the important thing is that they are on track. That’s great news that I will pass along to Aaron who’s away at Pres school
Thank you Dan!! the support is amazing even here in rochester, I like the direct line!
Can these blogs continue they’re awesome, I play lax with the twins, and they are like brothers
This whole excerpt makes me love you one hundred times more
To Blair, Tabitha, Chris, James, and Abby-We pray for you daily to keep strong and for a speedy recovery. Take one day at a time and your healing will go that much smoother. Ian and Chad send well wishes your way from college, and know that you are all very strong and will be back on your feet soon. Friends in hockey and LAX-The Larcom Family
