My friend Olga shot some pretty amazing photos of the Disco Wonderland event at Glo Bar in Providence last Friday. We headed up to the party together and had a total blast! I am so hyped that I finally found a cool scene here in Rhode Island, I had been driving all the way to NYC for fun. Who woulda’ thought that the Ocean State could get so funky? I like it!

Parting

My life closed twice before its close;
It yet remains to see
If immortality unveil
A third event to me

So huge, so hopeless to conceive
As these that twice befell.
Parting is all we know of heaven,
And all we need of hell.

This poem gives me the chills, literally.

Dickinson is such a Debby downer, which is probably why I drown myself in her work when I am feeling like a negative Nancy. I relate to her figurative deaths, Dickinson was stricken by events so cataclysmic….they seemed to spur some sort of death and re-birth. I always thought she might be a vampire, my suspicions have been confirmed.

“Parting is all we know of heaven, and all we need of hell.” Is the line that really gets me. think about it. total mind-fuck. Its the ultimate break-up Facebook status update for nerds.

anyway. off to greener pastures I suppose. I hope you enjoy my cryptic blog posts. Its cheaper than therapy.

I was sorting through some of my belongings this evening while cleaning my living quarters, and I stumbled across this gem of a magazine. I ‘modeled’ for Top Gear magazine a couple summers ago, it really does seem like another lifetime. I figured that I would share this with you guys…The idea behind the photo shoot was: Rolls Royce as surfing mobile. Crazy photographers and their creative license.

According to my grandma, she went to Barnes and Noble the day it came out and grabbed a bunch of them off of the shelf. When she found out that the magazine cost nearly 15 dollars, she was outraged. But she bought them anyway, and proceeded to show everyone in line all of my photos.

whelp, there was my five minutes of fame.

I will be getting down with my bad self tomorrow night. You can find me go-go dancing my little heart out at the “Elektrick AVEalanche: Disco Wonderland” event..  My buddies over at Viral Sound and Elektrick AVE asked me to help and I answered with a resounding, YES. ‘Help’, aka, do what I normally do, except on some sort of raised platform/bar/stage…. I like it.

Anyway.. here are my three outfit choices.

  1. Kitty cat with vinyl under-bust corset
  2. Rainbow wonderland gear
  3. Cookie party monster.

Comment and let me know what you like best! I will post a photo tomorrow with my outfit of choice.

<3 get your rage-face on, this is happening. oh and get there early, its going to sell out.

So two days ago, my backyard looked like this: (notice the icebergs)

Now it looks like this (add hooping kupcake) :

^ Praising the hooping gods

I’m not sure what I did to deserve these living quarters, but I am certainly not complaining. What a fantastical afternoon. I am now confidant with chest hooping, isolations, hooping at the knee and getting it back up to the waist. yay!

Hey guys, I started my new gig and my last semester of classes. I have been busy getting my little life together and recovering from the Viral Sound & Normal Instruments show on Friday. Here is some content to hold you over until I manage to come up with a super-deep, inspirational blog post that you will swoon over. And yea, this is real.

After all, those other girls must be crazy if they think they gonna beat me, honey boo-boo child.

I like to wear fanny packs to shows, festivals and the grocery store. They are extremely practical, they free your hands up for any sort of activity that you can possibly imagine. Most importantly, dancing and paying for drinks. Today I made a rainbow fanny pack with yellow pom-pom trim. It is really spectacular. Tonight I will wear it to the Viral Sound & Normals Instruments show in Providence. You should come rage and admire my new fanny :)

I up-cycled the strap/buckles from an old backpack. The fabric is from savers. I added a layer of thick material from the cut-up backpack in between the two layers of rainbow- for structure. The trim is the only part that is new!

velcro hearts for closure.
