holy smokes!

I gotta say, tonight reached ‘best night of my life’ status real quick. I had the most amazing experience at the DMV which (naturally) escalated into piercing with my best friend.

Me – ‘hey Jess, wana get pierced’
Jess – ‘ hell yeah, is Rich working?’
Me – ‘yeah I think i saw him in the window when I drove by Holy Smokes earlier’
Jess – ‘what should I get pierced?’
Me – ‘I duno, let Rich choose’
Jess – ‘Okay cool.’

Jess got some sort of cartilage in her ears pierced. She insisted on getting both ears done because I got two piercings in one shot. Well, I got the existing hole in my nose tapered (I thought it was closed?) and then Rich pierced right next to it. Tapering might be the worst thing ever. I have about 30 hours of tattoos on my body, but this taper/piercing combo totally took the prize for ‘most (voluntary) excruciating pain of my life.’

Ouch! Anyway, I am a big baby but Rich is the man. We laughed through the whole process and had a blast. If you are looking for a super clean/comfortable/amazing piercing & smoke shop … you have to go to Holy Smokes! I sure as hell won’t go anywhere else.
