party

will be chockfull of debauchery! (if all goes as planned)

To all of my party people: make sure you stop by Studio 3 tonight for some of the best electronic music & visuals to ever hit Rhode Island ….and their poster is also pretty awesome.

I fully support the astronaut.

For the duration of the weekend… I will be hosting the most amazing group of individuals for a chill-sesh of epic proportions.  Ms. Tawny Love, I am honored to help facilitate your birthday party and I can’t wait to show you an amazing time!

I am probably going to do a few GlamTech posts, so here is the second! For all of you bunnies out of the loop, this was a fundraiser for Disorient- an NYC based burning man theme camp. I was fortunate enough to help my friend Amanda set up her art installation at the venue pre-event, and I got to bounce around and help with other odds and ends. The work that goes into these parties is absolutely mind blowing. I have only been in this community for a short time, but I am constantly amazed at the sheer amount of creativity, drive and talent that these people possess. So – here is to everyone that made this weekend possible – cheers. Love you guys.

Pre-event set up! if you look to the far left of the photo you can see the cool PVC/UV reactive installation that Amanda created and I helped assemble. It wasn’t the smoothest process, but we had a great time doing it and it turned out awesome. Damn Christmas lights.

Here is a photo that my buddy Jan snapped of the mayhem! Thanks for the great bracelet <3

The theme was ‘Magician’ so i went as the bunny that got pulled out of a hat.

this sequence of me dancing may be blurry, bit it epitomizes my night! so so so fun! Stay tuned for more updates. And thanks josh for the costume photos <3

I pulled a Houdini and vanished into the depths of Philadelphia for the weekend. When my family and friends ask me about my travels, I can’t help but giggle and say something along the lines of, ‘yeah, I just hung at my friend’s apartment all weekend and took it easy.’ Because the true story of the weekend is far too ridiculous to try and explain. It seems like some epic journey akin to Lord of the Rings or Conan. Not that Becca and I reenacted Conan the Barbarian or anything, because that certainly didn’t happen.

Anyway, PEX had a Ferris wheel, marching bands, people swinging from the ceiling doing all sorts of amazing things, 3 different spaces with great music, 3 levels of lounge space, ‘private’ black light chill rooms, cocktail waitresses, live painting…. see I told you, it seems like I am making up some sort of elaborate story.  (thanks redlite for the first two photos and theresa keil for the 3rd)

My costume worked out magically.

Thank you to EZ, Morgan and the rest of the pirates for hosting us all weekend. You guys are the bees knees. xo

oh and PEX…well, you totally killed it with this one. If any of you kind souls are ever in Rhode Island, make sure you look me up :)

My friend Olga shot some pretty amazing photos of the Disco Wonderland event at Glo Bar in Providence last Friday. We headed up to the party together and had a total blast! I am so hyped that I finally found a cool scene here in Rhode Island, I had been driving all the way to NYC for fun. Who woulda’ thought that the Ocean State could get so funky? I like it!

Chris from Blue Boy Productions

John in the zone

Viral Sound‘s Ariel doing his thang.

My new head shot.

“OH. MY. GOSH. LOOK I’M GLOWING!!!!”

And thanks to the stunning Olga for capturing the weirdness.

In case you weren’t there and need to know what you missed, here’s the line up:
Viral Sound
Blue Boy Productions

ConnetICON
Matt Carey
Lighting and lazers provided by Laced BASS
Projections by Ravey Gravie

And last but not least…the party was thrown by..Elektrick Ave and Funky Comm <3

I personally like my bass laced and these guys even have lasers. I love lasers! Newport’s electro music scene is pretty weak, but the parties thrown by this crew are always super fun.

With entry into this event you will automatically be entered into a raffle for your chance to win two floor tickets to the AVICII show at the Ryan Center on January 30th!

Here is some eye-candy from their last event: Haunted House. Hot chicks, deep house, lasers…. Thank you After Hours · Affordable Event Photography for the awesome photos, You Rock!

Craig destroying it

Wynn conducting the mayhem

Colby and Ali winning, clearly.

olivia and caitrin, also winning (i'm not 100% this is them..but I think?)

lasers!

See ya there! But only if you like to have fun, if you aren’t into fun then I don’t want to see you there.
